Brian is primarily responsible for researching and identifying investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and monitoring West Coast investments. Brian joined Lighthouse in September 2001, as a Portfolio Analyst, and later served as an Investment Analyst and has now been promoted to Principal. Prior to Lighthouse, Brian served as the founder and general manager of the JALO Group, LLC, an online media company. In addition to working with a number of private technology and finance companies in the Bay Area as an analyst, Brian previously contributed as a web developer at Intraware, Inc. [ITRA]. Brian's investment focus is in communications and semiconductor opportunities, and he has been involved in Lighthouse's investments in Aruba Networks, Azul Systems, Catena Networks (acquired by Ciena), Cortina Systems, Digital Fountain, Force10 Networks, Rhapsody (acquired by Brocade), and Santur. Brian holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University.
